Convert Radar Hard Wire kit for my G1W-CB?

I had an escort redline radar (stolen by tow truck driver ), and it was hard wired to my sunroof wiring harness nicely hidden in my 2004 bmw 330ci. Yeah I know I should have removed it but it was 2 am and i was overtired..

It powered on and off perfectly when I had the radar.

Now I am waiting for my G1W I just bought and am wondering if I can re-use this already spliced in harness with a little wire cutting and splicing to work with my G1W.

Here is a pic of the G1W-CB wiring kit that comes with it. What do you guys think?

I'm pretty sure the Escort uses 12V and the G1W uses 5V. You'll need to step it down somewhere.

Ok thanks. I'll look up a 12v to 5v micro usb hardwire kit.

In the meantime, anybody have a recommendation of a specific cheap one they've used?
