Hi all,
I am wondering that if lens angle of Viofo A119 / A119S has impact for reading license plates? As the sun lights for daytime and headlamps for nighttime are reflected to the lens and this causes over exposure I think. So, should the lens positioned to down as much as possible in order to avoid reflection?

Recommend adjustment is 60% road/hood/dash and 40% sky.

look at the horizon, 40% above, 60% below

And 100% "under the radar" whenever possible  There are lots of vatiables involved with the vertical aiming of a dascam, so it's best to experiment a bit and see what works best for you. Less sky is usually the right direction for better vids;)

Thank you.
I originally dropped the lens 1 click to help reduce dash reflection and it worked.
I've used my A119S everyday for 4 months now and it's perfect for my use and needs.
