Hi Guys,

Do you guys use CPL len on your A119? If so, which vendor do you prefer? I see there are at least 3 amazon sellers selling the lens.

Yes I use on A119S. I make a lot of difference in my cars.
There are 2 model of A119, so make sure you got the new version.

No order, All of them is OK.
Captureyouraction, OCD Tronic, Spytect.

How do you adjust the polarize len to the correct view? Do you use the adhesive one or the clip on?

BTW, once you confirmed the angle of the len after you put on the camera, do you have to adjust after a period of time?

It clip on. No adjustment at all.
Viofo and SG work together to make an easy to use and a very good CPL lens.

the clip on one is pre adjusted, the adhesive one you would need to check and align correctly, the adhesive one just uses a cheap plastic film though, it's not a glass lens so some distortion is expected

so either one of these from the amazon seller is okay?

There is a slot on top and bottom of the clip, I thought it was for adjusting the polarization focus.

There did it at factory and sealed the lens.

I see. Thanks.

When you look at the links that I mentioned, it "looks" like the len can be adjusted.

they are all the same so buy from whoever you please

the slot is for installing the lens, it has been rotated into the correct position already, no need to adjust it any further

Viking from above already explained before your reply. ;)

Thanks anyway guys.

I am gonna to order one.

FYI
Jokiin is the (manufacturer) of the lens, he just want you to know, you have nothing to worry about.

Does the CPL lens reduce reflections during night time recording?

I can see you live in Canada, I don't know how bright Aurora/ Northern light is (I have only see it very dim) or if you got 24 hour sun in summer time.
Normal where there in no light, there is no reflection.

if you have a vehicle where the dashboard lights, radio etc show up reflected in the windscreen then it will also work for that as well so there are still reasons to leave the filter on at night

I still see my radio at night, but I can dim the light, so its not to big a problem.

can be very distracting on some vehicles, it varies of course, some vehicles this is never an issue

Just received thr CPL Len today. Is the larger slot point upward?

Which EV exposure would you guys recommended after the CPL installation?

I set at +2/3 without the CPL len at this moment.
