Dash Cam Fuel Cell Vehicle

Has anyone put a dash camera in a fuel cell vehicle (Hydrogen/Toyota Mirai)?
I just picked one up and I want to put a blackvue 750 2ch with parking mode enabled at all times, I remember for my BMW i3 I had to also put an external battery for the camera to have power for the parking mode to work because the car automatically was shutting off power once doors were locked (even when using the blackvue magic pro).

I'm wonder if I also need an external battery for this car?
 
As new as it is, you may perhaps be the first person doing a dashcam install in that car. Do share your results with us please :)

I installed the blackvue 750-2ch dash cam using the power magic pro OBD.
Parking mode works perfectly.
