Hi everyone. We just released version 1.4.1 of Dashcam Viewer, which adds support for the Panorama S as well as support for the newer firmware on the Panorama II (the newer firmware changed the format of the GPS data slightly). This version can be downloaded from:

http://earthshinesw.com/dashcam-viewer/

The complete list of recent improvements can be found on our blog:

If you are not familiar with Dashcam Viewer here's a video demonstration of a somewhat earlier version:

Thanks!
John

thanks.

I love this viewer. Especially the new icon. Makes it EASY to determine which version I've got.

Would you be planning a version, that allows us to play a single file at a time? without having to resort to placing it into a directory of it's own

thanks & keep up the great work

david, that is a great suggestion! I will add that to my list of future features for Dashcam Viewer.

Thanks!

when Windows version will support Panorama S?

another potentially good improvement. Would be horizontal & vertical sliding bars so that the user can control the portion of the screen they want to have a closer look at.

Do you plan on adding video-export feature to match Registratorviewer's capability? I know they rely heavily on Windows API calls so not sure if you can do it easily.

Maybe you could pair your app with http://handbrake.fr/
(many other apps call on handbrake to do the back end edits)

Your app would be the go to app if you can add combine/export to MP4 ability with x1 x2 x4 x8 x16 speed up support etc. (with embedded GPS/date/time data etc)

@spotnz, you can drag the movie within the window frame to accomplish the same effect.

Hi @JazJon. Yes, that would be cool to do. I'll add it to my list of future improvements. Thanks!

Awesome, I've had a few customers ask, I think there are more and more Mac users each year. I'm really impressed with what's coming via iOS 8 + Yosemite

(I was not happy with Mac OS 3 years ago, and went back to Windows) I might try again though since I'm an iPhone power user.
