For the most part the characterization has been that the camera is highly compromised if you can't access the menu options, more so than anyone saying that it is "useless". The big question is why would anyone of intelligence and sound mind go out and knowingly purchase a camera that they know is designed to operate in concert with a WiFi capable cell phone when they do not own a cell phone, considering that there are literally dozens of other worthy alternative cameras on the market that include menu access and functionality. Taking it a step further why would anyone put days and days of effort and verbiage into trying to convince others that they really don't need all the functionality provided in a camera they just paid good money for and that would otherwise dramatically enhance the usefulness and enjoyment of the product?
