DCPro+ Rear Cam with OG DC?

I have an SG9663DC and want to upgrade the rear cam to the new more compact version from the DCPro+.

Rear Camera for SG9663DR, SG9663DC, SG9663DCPRO, SG9663DCPRO+, SGGCX2PRO, SGGCX2PRO+, SG9663TD

Replacement Camera for Street Guardian Dashcamera.

I’ve seen that @niko has it listed separately and as compatible with the DC, but do I need to change any settings or firmware on my DC to use it? I know the Pro has different firmware to the DC.

Yes it will work, there's a special firmware update process to change your DC to a DCPRO, @niko will be able to arrange that for you also

Yes i think you need to change bootloader and then new firmware too, official SG resources will be able to guide you thru a update of that kind
