I've recently purchased ddpai mini2 which came with a hardwire kit as shown:

I have an Audi A7. I opened the side panel to access the fuse box, used a screw in grounding point for the ground and connected the red wire to a fuse with power even when the vehicle is off (I want the camera to record 24/7) after testing the fuse with a multimeter. However, when connecting to the camera it doesn't turn on. I'm 100% sure the fuse is giving power and that the ground point is correct. I tested the ground point with my multimeter as well as the fuse.

Any idea what could be wrong?

Sometimes you need to remove the paint from the grounding point in order to make it solid. Can you test using alternative grounding point?

I can confirm the grounding point is working because I used my multimeter and connected it to the exposed wire of the kit’s ground wire. I can confirm the fuse itself is okay because after connecting it the multimeter light also turned on.
