Differences beetwen firmware

Hi all,
I'm wondering if there are any differeneces beetwen firmwares:
V-1.03.026 US and V-1.03.028 CN

And second question: is it possible to back to CN firmware from US? (I bought CN and changed to US) - but maybe CN(.028) firmware is newest and better than US(0.26)

027 was to optimize video performance.

028 was to resolve a potential card formatting problem.
 
ok i'm waiting for package with camera(CN version) for my wifes car - i will try to install this firmware and compare videos with my camera(.026US)
 
Hi, i compared videos from both cameras and i don't see any differences between video quality on .026US and .028CN.
 
Hi I am new in the forum and I would like to ask I have one Yi dash cam with version: V-1.03.028-CN But my camera it has not ADAS System and it plays only 720p and 1080p in 30 FPS . I have problem with the camera is take or I must change the Software. Please can you help me.

It is probably the same version,but there is 2 firmware's in Yi dashcams Chinese(CN),usually black color and International-English(US),gray or gold,I think,but not sure.
On the Yitechonology internet page,there isn't a black color version,so maybe its a fake one,only gray and gold.

I have International version of Yi dashcam (gray color with US firmware),try to search some of threads on forum here,many people changed their dashcams firmaware from CN to US, and see do they get more higher resolution after changing of their firmware.

You means the CN version only have 1080p resolution ?
Strange, i used to have 20 yi dashcam about 6 months ago and they have 1296p

No I meant my Yi dashcam with US firmware have 4 resolutions
1.1280x720 30fps
2.1920x1080 30fps
3.1920x1080 60fps
4.2304x1296 30fps
I dont know about CN firmware version
I understood,from some threads I was reading about firmwares in Yi dashcam that a CN firmware have only 720p and 1080 30fps,worse resolution than with US firmware or even a smaller choice of resolutions than with US firmware.Why they change CN to US anyway?

THANK YOU for your responce my dash cam is black colour and I bought from Tinydeal Company from Germany warehouse. In the next minutes I send you a photo from Cameras Menu. I think it is a fake.

Sorry but I cant tell you is it a fake one for sure,I have expirience with only 1 Yi I have,you'll have to wait for @thancam because he has an expirience with 20 Yi dashcams he will know better than me.Maybe I am making a mistake.
 
Maybe you should go to a Yitechnology website and search or send them e-mail or check with them is your Yi dashcam is fake.

Did you have a black color Yi with CN firmware in it??

You bought the black "Action" version. It's hardware limited to 1080P30. No ADAS and 130 degree FOV.

The more expensive gray/gold version can do 1080P60. ADAS and 165 degree FOV.

There are only two versions: black (1080P30) and gray/gold (1080P60). The firmware cannot be swapped. 1296P30 is a fake resolution (software interpolated) so I won't talk about that.
