Here is my brief review of Digi4u store.
Some time ago I've decided to buy Matego MG800 from them as they had reduced from £74 to £62.
Prior to purchase I contacted their customer service and asked the usual set of questions (can AV In on the camera take reverse camera input, what is the voltage on power supply, etc). They were happy to assist and even went as far as scanned the User Guide and sent it to me via email.
Satisfied with the answers, I bought the camera via Ebay and it arrived after two days. Unfortunately the reverse camera input didn't work, despite being clearly mentioned in both eBay advert and User Guide. To be fair, Digi4u told me that they have some reservations regarding this functionality during our email exchange.
I have emailed them again, explaining that the feature doesn't work and they promised to contact their supplier for clarification. Two days later they got back to me and apologised for misleading advert: apparently in their version of MG800 the AV In is disabled for some reason. They offered refund and sent me prepaid tracked postage label. Today I received my refund in full (it supposed to happen last week so I sent thema reminder email and the refund was issued immediately; they also apologised for the delay).
In short, while Matego MG800 didn't behave as expected, I have no issues recommending Digi4u as a seller. Yes, they could have learned of what the product can and what it can't do before advertising it but in all honesty, how many non-specialised sellers do this? The return/refund process was hassle-free.
