disable red motion detection lights?

I know I can turn off the 'security' lights. Can I also turn off the red lights that indicate
motion detection?

Yes you can turn off the "security" lights.
Go into the settings from the Lukas Viewer- then go to basic- others- and disable front and rear security LED.

I thought 'security lights' referred to the blue ones?

The security light is the light on the front and rear camera

There are two lights. one blue that blinks (which seems to be just a warning to possible hoodlums) and a red one that shows when motion is detected.. I think both are switched on/off by the same setting?

If you disable the security light, both of them will be off.
