Disabled Car Appears Out of Nowhere on the highway

A nice reminder that it's hard to see what's going on ahead of the car in front of you.

It's daylight, it's a red car, broken down in a lane that is closing. Not a problem unless your head is up your butt.

(But I see the same many times daily. Further than 5 feet ahead of most peoples hood....the world doesn't exist.

I agree. It doesn't affect anyone unless they're tailgating the vehicle in front of them which suddenly changes lane and all of a sudden there's a disabled vehicle in front of them.

It is the law here to put a red warning triangle 300 ft(?) ahead of a stopped vehicle.
