Dash Cam
Veckle Mini 0906 Dual Channel
Hi, just joined the forum. Also just bought my first dashcam! The mini-0906.

I was wondering does the Idea of an "aftermarket" installer even exist in the U.S? i swear it seems like anytime you mention that to anyone, they refuse because they don't want to be responsible for what ever happens. This setting up the dashcam was easy enough (still cant set the time up...) I worry when it comes to hard wiring.

Any local car audio install specialist can help. (it's just another 12V connection, and they know how to remove trims) Use Yelp to find someone reputable if you don't have any suggestions from friends/family.

I see, will do. thanks for the info!

if you're having trouble with the clock and your camera has GPS make sure you've set the timezone to match your local settings otherwise the time and date will always be out

I was looking at that. the timezone are +8 or -1 I have no idea how i would decipher that into a timezone.

Never thought of that. So for central timezone i would be -6?

well i got the -6 added, tho the time i manually enter is all off lol. Whats strange is with the useb connected to the GPS moduel, I thought time would be automatically set.

you don't need to adjust the time, just set the timezone, it will adjust itself after you get signal, first time can take a bit of time before it gets a lock and updates

For Nebraska its central standard. but once i make chances, that time (12 hour clock) is not correct. strange.
