DOD LS300W / TioTech GT300W SD card compatibility

I have actually contacted them in regards to the specific product codes (MB-MPBGC/EU or MB-MPBGB) on the 1st page of this thread and they didn't have that particular card.

those codes may be specific to another market, the warranty varies in different countries so there would need to be a way to track the market origin of the card

I have Sandisk and Samsung cards that I've purchased from them and have used both in an LS300W and a clone without issue, all the product they sell is genuine

How many hours of footage would a 32GB card hold? and how many hours of footage would a 16GB card hold in the GT300W?

if the bitrate is around 15mbit at 1080p it will get around four and a half hours or so (may vary depending on the recycle setting chosen) out of a 32gb card

I would have thought at 720p you would get a higher FPS but apparently not with the GT300W

Some chip sets support a higher frame rate in 720p mode, 1080p still looks better in many cases though

Good news!

Samsung 64GB MicroSDXC PRO Class 10 (MB-MGCGB) is fully compatibile with LS300W / LS400W / GT300W
compatibile Firmwares:

1307111-SC2-E00
1306130-SC-2
1305311-SC-2
1305310-EN-10
130328

[possibly works with all firmwares but i can't find other firmwares..]

note:
Memory card must be formated to FAT32 / 64GB format
optionally you can use this tool (from DOD-Tech):
http://www.dod-tech.ca/downloads/
http://www.sendspace.com/file/krkzkm

without formating to FAT32-64GB working only with 3min loop recording (not 1min or 5min)

...I will be careful ;)

I tested a SanDisk Ultra 32GB microSDHC UHS-1 Model "SDSDQUI-032G-AW46" class 10 in a LS300W running firmware "LS300W 1307030-SC-2 E00". I've recorded for about 6 hours @1080 with no issues.

Thanks for sharing!

BTW a general question when I was reading the forums I came across a Windows program which changed the settings on a DVR cam, I forgot the name of the camera, I think it was the LS300w. If there is such a program, would someone be kind enough to link to it please?

So I tried the Adata 32 gb class 10 card (ADATA 32GB Premier UHS-1 CL10 Micro SDHC With Adapter, Part #: AUSDH32GUICL10-RA1). I formatted the card in my brand new DOD LS300W, and set it to 3 min. loop.
It worked fine until it recorded exactly 16.0 gb of data, then it LOCKED UP the LS300W (ie. the unit wouldn't boot past the DOD splash screen). Reformatting the card in Win7 didn't help (although the card still works in windows).
My firmware is 1307030-SC-2 E00.

I replaced the Adata card with a SanDisk 16 gb microSDHC 1 (p/n SDSDQUI-016G-U46S) and can now use the LS300W again.

sure your Adata is Legit ?

i aways recommend here and i recommend you

test it -> http://www.heise.de/download/h2test.html

wont cust nothing , software is free , in case error its fake :(
in case don´t give error it´s prob,en of camera

got a sandisk 64gb fake , and it´s frustrating.

Well the new Sandisk 16 gb card lasted all of 10 minutes. I put it in my week old DOD LS300W, formatted it, took it out to the car and the LS300 started up and started recording like it's supposed to. I went for a 10 minute drive. Parked for 15 minutes, came back & started the car and the LS300W hangs at the DOD splash screen.
I tried turning the LS300W on without the car adapter, no change.
Tried removing and re-inserting the memory card, no change.
Tried the reset button with a paper clip, still no change.
I think I must have a defective LS300W. Firmware is 1307030-SC-2 E00. I can't be the only one with these problems.
Any ideas?

My memory card works fine with my LS300W camera. I ordered the memory card with the camera from FoxOffer.
I don't know the product code because they didn't include the packaging, but here is what I can tell you:

The card says the following on it: Sandisk Ultra 32GB MicroSD HC I
I found a photo of it on the web: http://www.mobymemory.co.uk/1015-51-thi ... y-card.jpg

The firmware version on my camera is LS300W 1307170EN10 E03

I have a San Disk Ultra 32 GB Class 10 (Original) and have no issues with my GT300W (from foxoffer).

I did not even format the card in the cam. I used it before in a HP Dash-Cam (f200) and formated it with that cam. The only thing I did, was deleting manually what was on the card and renaming it from "f200" (the name given after formating it with the HP dashcam) to "nothing" (=deleting the name in Windows).

My GT300W already recorded so long, that it did overwrite older files and everything still works perfect.
