I've seen some videos of dual cams and they have one camera on the dash facing inside the car aimed at the driver / passenger(s). Do any of you have this setup? I already have cams facing forward and rear but nothing inside or even on the sides. Do I need this or am I going overboard?? I was thinking about getting a DVR-027 or the $40 "HD720 smallest in car dash..." for this. I even thought about having a camera facing forward from the back cargo area (SUV) side window. . . like this, with the red lines being field of view. . .

Let me know your thoughts!!!

You could have a cam with a view of the inside, and with three 120 degree cams, you would have a 360 degree view of your surroundings and happenings.
I'm sure that some taxi and bus drivers have inwards facing cameras. Since most of the sub-$300 cams can't properly record license plate numbers anyway, a 360 view might be a nice setup to have.
