Does the "date problem" on the G1W-x affect the loop recording? Will it no longer delete the true oldest video clip because the newer clip may show an older date?

    Thanks

if the "date problem" is something to do with the clock resetting then that can and will affect file order and ability to recycle correctly at times

Is the G1W the only camera with this problem? I'm in the market for a new cam and I would like it "maintenance-free". With the G1W, i would have to tend to the date settings.

The G1W would otherwise be a perfect camera for me

Can happen to any camera, more common in cheaper models with lower levels of quality control
