Hello all,

I have a Aukey DR02 dash cam. I wired it to permanent 12V supply and switched on motion on the cam.
I bought a 12V to 5V USB converter with cable and use this instead of the USB-car plug.

Unfortunately, in the night the camera is recording too.
I checked the videos and saw no motion, so no reason for the camera to go on.
in the garage the car has a window infront of it and some light is coming through, but I think that should not be sufficient to trigger motion.

How can I lower the motion detection threshold? I found nothing in the menu.
Is the motion tracking actually the reason for the camera to record or is there something different going on?
Or should I wire the camera differently?

from the image sensors perspective changes in lighting is movement, do you have a flashing LED in the dash somewhere?

any changes in lighting coming through the window would potentially set it off also

Thank you,

no I do not have some flashing LED infront.
Should a change in lighting be visible on the video? Because I see no change

I dont think there is anything blinking in the garage...

and where can I set it to less sensitive? I have not found anything to set, only on or off.
