Hello all,
I recently got a DR500GW and am liking it so far. Last week I installed the Power Magic Pro box so I could take advantage of parking mode. I immediately noticed that it constantly records in parking mode, trees blowing in the wind, cars driving by, sun comes out from behind a cloud etc. I completely turned off the motion detection (0/100) and am now only using the G-sensor which I find records quite a bit even when nothing touches the car. I have all 3 parking mode G-sensor settings at 40/100 now and it still records when a neighbor pulls into the parking lot, sun comes out from behind a building etc.
Any suggestions for the optimal settings? Ideally I would like it to record any impact with the car but not be recording constantly.
