I have a DR65S1 dual channel system which is shutting down and restarting automatically as I drive. I contacted Blackvue to explore the issue and see if there was a fix and they suggested that I update the firmware. So I went to the downloads page and there doesn't appear to be any firmware for a model DR65S1. They suggested that I use the 650 firmware, which I've attempted to do many times but when I insert the SD card in the camera it keeps saying that the model information is wrong so it doesn't update or function. I'm at a complete loss here and Blackvue isn't responding to my e-mails anymore. I hope that someone here has a suggestion.

You might need to double check the model name of the dashcam which can be found on the serial number label beneath the mount.
If it says DR650S-2CH, try following firmware:

If you still get the same error, i suspect the model name on the serial number label is incorrect. To find out the accurate model name, insert a blank (FAT 32 formatted) SD card in the dashcam, let it initialize and when it start recording, turn it off, take out SD card, connect to your computer, open SD card drive> BlackVue folder > System folder > version file.

By the way, the rebooting issue is mostly related to SD card when it gets old and write speed decreases, it causes the blackvue to reboot randomly during recording.
