Looks like the garage hotspot function in v1.013 is missing on the DR900S-2CH.
It may have been removed from all their cloud-compatible cams.
I'm assuming someone overlooked it when they were finalising the firmware release - that or it's a sus way to get people to buy the LTE module that isn't even supported on the non-X version..

ps - I checked that the order does NOT matter so there is effectively no way to prioritise hotspots now.
Also they need to add a way to restart the cam for instances when the wi-fi won't connect (you could do this by changing a setting before)

Strange. One of the highlighted improvements was the Cloud connectivity

WHAT’S NEW:

  1. New Hard Acceleration, Hard Braking, Hard Cornering detection function added.
    • Applies to: original video files, Live Event upload files, notifications, warning sound, GPS tracking, Drive Report.
  2. Live Event upload function improvements:
    • Combined benefits of Live Event Auto upload and Event File Auto upload.
    • Includes 5-second pre-impact buffer + saving to the Cloud in real time
  3. Geofence-related Event videos upload function added.
    • Note: the original file is still saved on the microSD card as a normal recording.
  4. Notifications improvements:
    • Integrated notification settings into a single menu
    • Simplified Quick View Events Push Notifications
  5. Improved Cloud firmware settings function:
    • Firmware settings can be changed while not connected to the Cloud
    • Most settings apply immediately without dashcam reboot
    • Cloud hotspot (SSID / PW) settings added
  6. GPS location recording ON / OFF setting added

Cloud Connectivity does appear more stable on v1.013 as opposed to v1.012 but this could be due to their recent(?) move to AWS.
Can anyone confirm my findings on the same dash cam or other models? (750X, 750S, 900X etc.)
