DR900X - when will it be replaced?

Hi, waiting for a new car. Last time Blackvue launched a new and better version 1 week after I ordered it.



Any idea, rumours etc. when a new top model will be launched?



The car will be made in Germany week 51, so mid january 2023.

You can keep an eye out to see if they announce anything new during SEMA in the beginning of November. They sometimes announce new products there.

They weren’t at SEMA, but it looks like they will be announcing something new at CES in Jan. No word yet on what it is though.

That "box" concept sound interesting.. expect the initial price will a deal breaker though

BlackVue probably won't have any new products out until mid Second Quarter or late Spring 2023.
The best I have seen from BlackVue is the DR900X-Plus.
Other alternatives, Thinkware U1000 that was released in October 2019. The new Q1000 which is terrible and worst than the U1000.
Last year 2022 releases were Viofo A229 Duo and Viofo A139 Pro 4K as both are very good. Viofo does have some heat dissipation concerns.
Then there is DDPAI X5 Pro released in December 2021.
