DrivePro 220 first use

I bought a DrivePro 220 this week. In the QSG I read "We suggest you to charge DrivePro before using it". But how? There is no further instruction about charging. Or do I have to do it in my car, while driving without using it? It sounds ridiculous to me.... They also write about using USB to connect to the computer. There is no USB-cable included so I used the one from my cardreader. I can't see the DrivePro charges during connection to the computer. The only message appearing on the back of the camera is "Connect to the computer". So, this doesn't help me either.

It comes with the cigarette socket charger, just mount your drivepro on the windscreen , then plug the USB charger to it
