Dual DC suits Jeep Renegade windshield location

Hi guys , some insights for reliable DC who suits placement in Renegade windshield. No evident for me due to black box centered behind mirror.

People often mount to either side of the sensor box on windscreen, some have also mounted off that sensor housing if it have a flat surface in the fight place to do that.
Just have to make sure you have a little room so the camera can slide on off its mount, not least if you go for a wedge shaped camera like viofo / street guardian / ASO
Also need some distance so you dont have parts of that sensor housing in the footage.

As @kamkar mentioned - use the sensor cover to your advantage if possible. That's actually my preferred mounting location.

Best place to put cam?

Several different form-factors for dashcams so there will be something suitable if not perfect for almost every vehicle.

The black box is not making the choice easy. DC with horizontal shape could be suitable.
