list is too long
EKEN released a possible successor of the popular H9 today:
The EKEN H8 (or H8R including a remote) features a Sony IMX078 sensor & dual screen.
Selectable resolutions/frame rates: 4K 30fps, 2.7K 30fps, 1080p 60fps & 1080p 30fps.
It is the same size as a GoPro with the same button layout, therefore a little smaller than the H9.

Here's all the info I gathered so far: http://elproducente.com/eken-h8-4k-30fps-review-manual/

I have read various reports that this is upsampled to 4K and not a true 4K camera - is this true? It is said that the processing chip cannot handle 4K. What does this mean as far as the real-world resolving power of this camera - is is significantly sharper than 1080 cameras?

Similar to Git2, SJ5000X, Firefly 6S, SJCAM M20,... 4K is not native, it is interpolated

and 30fps are real or duplicated?

4K/30fps and 1080/60fps are DUPLICATED!
Download youtube videos, use MPC-HC and step through framewise - ALWAYS two frame are same!
This is sneaky bluff!

i'll wait my tests, Sony IMX078 can do 4K 24 fps and 1080P 60fps without troubles..

My unboxing and using the H8R video with lots of test clips. I think the camera gave good results. Reduced price at the moment on my specs link.

Coupon code EKENH8R at £58 a very good camera.

And a short 4K clip here. But 15fps with doubled frames to create 30 fps.

with latest firmware frames are not duplicated ;)
upgrade it

I downloaded a file which said it was a fw upgrade but it wasn't a bin file, didn't look right to me and it wasn't from Eken. I am very wary of unofficial downloads. Haven't installed it. Can't find the forum I got it from now either. I almost bricked another camera I was testing with a download from a forum.

search Eken H9 User Group on Facebook ;)
forget official firmwares from Eken.com page... they never done...

Since latest fisco, there are an official EKEN fb page. Now they are sharing FW updates often.

I just made 4 x 4 minute test clips simultaneously with Firefly S6 , SJCam x5000 Elite, M20 and the Eken H8R It is interesting to see the wide differences in data rates at 4K against the Eken. Eken is more than twice as much? Whether this means more information in the video I don't know? Or not such a good codec. Eken is MOV. the others are mp4

Eken H8R clip length 3m 58s ............. 3840 x 2176 .......... 1,792,070 kb
Firefly S6 clip length 4m 04s ................ 2880 x 2178 .......... 860,711 kb
M20 clip length 4m 05s ............................. 2880 x 2160 .......... 741,240 kb
SJCam x5000 Elite clip length 4m 04s ............. 2880 x 2160 .......... 690,271 kb

As had been said Eken H8 old firmware duplicates every frame. So really 15 fps

The other 3 cameras listed duplicated every 4th frame so the 30 fps is more like 24 fps in reality. 1,2,3,4, duplicate 4, 1,2,3,4, duplicate 4 and so on.

Eken use JPEG codec for 4K video with a high bitrate... check my previous messages, i posted a mediainfo result...
but i don't know video result are very poor....
