P.S. You got any youtube videos demoing the english CR-2000G UI? :D

CR-2000G : $399.00, included Shipping( Only U.S Except Alaska, Hawaii or the Caribbean Islands),Tax, uninterrupted power Cable, 1 Year Warranty, 32GB SD Card.

We are testing CR-2000G and have video files but not posted to Youtube Yet:)

Last question. :p

Can you tell me where the CR-2000G gets its voltage information? shown below.

An ODB 2 connector or direct power supply reading? The reason I ask is that the voltage fluctuates in the video.

The CR-2000G's Voltage information can get from FineVu Player as well.

that's just embedded in the video, nothing to do with the player, voltage does fluctuate though, nothing unusual about that

Yes, the voltage info is shown in the player because it was recorded with the video in real time.

I wanted to know where the original voltage reading came from, but it looks like just from the cams main power supply.

Reasons : The Lukas 9700 duo has a ODBII add-on for displaying special vehicle readings in real time.

Hi Rafa,

Thanks again for the English Firmware!!

I loaded the file labeled "CR-2000G_FW_v1.00.168_Release" and it seems to work. Any idea what the "CR2000G TIME FIRMWARE" file is for? They have almost the same size and internal file name.

Also, If you are communicating with the Finevu team let them know that:

1. The LDWS "alarm speed" value (in the LDWS menu option) is still in "KM/H" and not "MPH".
2. The current speed value shown on the LCD is also in "KM/H" and not "MPH".

Your welcome kmd1970!!

CR2000G Time Firmware is that you can adjust UTC time frame, because you were not able to adjust time on the Korean version.

I would like to test KM/H value, and let the Finevu teams to know the issue in order to change MPH.

Thank you for letting us know!!

That's weird, because I was able to change the UTC on my Korean version.

It came with Korean firmware 1.00.067 and I updated it to Korean version 1.00.068. Both allowed UTC changes.

oh really?? i was not able to change the UTC before updating Firmware Ver. v1.00.042
My CR2000G firmware was older version than yours on the first hands.

That makes sense. old firmware.

I've been doing extensive testing between the Finevu CR-2000G and the Blackvue DR750LW-2CH:

1. Both have excellent image in the day. About the same high quality, although the Blackvue has deep contrast.
2. The Finevu CR-2000G sees more at night due to the WDR, however the image has lots of noise (and a watercolor effect)
3. The Blackvue DR750LW-2CH has a cleaner image (no watercolor effect or noise) at night, but the image is extremely dark, so not much detail.

I am hoping that with the next firmware release the noise and a watercolor effect can be corrected in the Finevu CR-2000G.

If the Blackvue DR750LW-2CH had WDR or better night image, it would be king.

I take that back. My Blackvue DR750LW-2CH image has a weird blue hazy layer at night and sunlight makes everything look orange in the day. I hope its not broken already.

I have a same issue (a watercolor effect) on CR-2000G, and transferred your message to FineVu Digital.
They should develop a firmware to fix the issue and send me the firmware within 1-4 weeks

Thank you for your advise.

Yes, Below is a night shot from the Panorama X2 Fw .17, while not moving. (no watercolor and low noise in image).

The Fine CR-2000G should at least get to this level with it's night image quality.

If the Finvu guys can do this I will sell my Blackvue DR750LW immediately! ;)

Another thing,

In English firmware "CR-2000G_FW_v1.00.168_Release" they removed the ability to adjust the LDWS bars manually.

MOTyd7L.jpg

All I get now are three pre-defined options, SUV, SEDAN & TRUCK.

I would rather have the adjustable bars I think. :D

Hello kmd1970,

Could you send us your image pictures for CR-2000G at night??
I sent my water color and low noise pictures to FineVu Digital, but they want to check and see that images in other cars.
Please send us at finevuus@gmail.com

Thanks
