Error message 312GW

I have had 312GW 2 years. I recently noticed it is not recording. I have a Nextbase SD card since new. I have deleted everything off the card. Reset to default settings. Remived card and reset cam. Reinserted card. Error message popped up. Still not recording. Can anyone assist please?
 
Have you reformatted the card ?
 
Is that when you remove card and press reset button? If so, yes done that.

Hi there,

This sounds like the SD card has failed due to a lack of formatting, and in answer to your other post, that is not how an SD format is performed.

In order to format on any Series 1 dashcam you need to follow these steps:
1) Stop the dashcam recording
2) Tap 'Menu' twice
3) Scroll down to 'Format SD'
4) Tap OK to begin

This process needs to be completed every 2-3 weeks with regular use of the dashcam, if performing these steps proves unsuccessful then it's very likely the card has failed as a result of lack of formatting and the best course of action would be to replace the SD card.
