Well, technically, it is not a dashcam, but a camcorder I tried using a dashcam a couple years back, but ended up changing my mind because of the lack of image stabilization.

However recorded it's still awesome

I remember seeing some of that as a kid. My family drove coast-to-coast 3 times, and Dad always routed us to see all the parks and monuments along the way Crossed twice as a adult doing similar at the better places.
