I purchased the 2k SG9667GC2K from Hiniko, so far so good.
Due to time constraints I have been using the supplied cigarette lighter to power the dual cam. I find myself with some time to wire in the hardwire kit which I purchased
SGDCHW (MINI FUSE) PARKING MODE RECORDING HARDWIRE KIT
Trouble is the cable is too short, once routed from front cam down the pillar and floor, the switchable box barely reaches the back seats, and would be a pain to get to if I wanted to gain access to it.
What's the solution here, can I extend by a metre.
The red and yellow wire have connectors which means I could make new cables up re-connect but the black is fixed and would need to find ground somewhere near the switchable box.
The fuse location is in the boot for a BMW F31 320D.
