I drove less than what I usually do during these days but that wasn't a problem because the car has A/C. The worst part was there was no escaping the heat: even in the shades where I parked the car the air temperature was always above 40ºC (104ºF), especially on Saturday, August 4th. Just wow- I certainly feel for you.

My much-abused Möbius may have finally went toast, and my G1W-HC's are acting up now, but my cheapo G1W clone with a battery is still working as it always has; not great in any way other than being pretty darn reliable while driving especially for the $26 or $27 I have in it. We're in the hottest part of summer here and the start or summer was two weeks like this with higher than usual temps in between. But you've got it a lot worse there my friend so I'm not going to complain. Take care and try to stay cool!
