F200 pro SD card format issue

When I format my 128 GB card as ExFAT on my Mac it shows around 126 GB available. Then after doing the format in the DashCam (insert SD card and hold down Record button) only about 800 MB is available. What gives?

Thanks for your reply. So does this mean it will grow this available space as videos get stored? By that I mean, I had around 60 GB of video on the card before doing the firmware/format. Obviously I can't put them back on the card now, -but am I now stuck with a grand total of 800-ish MB available for recording?
