I have recently had a f770 fitted. It only records in continuous mode and evt . there are no recordings in parking or time-lapse. Does this indicate that the cameras has been incorrectly wired.

It was hard wired with cable into fuse box below the glove compartment

It sounds as though the "Battery" wire was not connected to an "always 12V" source.
If the "Accessory" wire is properly connected to a 12V source that is only present when the ignition is on, you should enter the Parking Mode.

If you take it to have them check the wiring, remember that after turning the ignition off, within about a minute the F770 will announce "Entering Parking Mode". This will allow you to know if it's properly connected before leaving the repair/installation facility.

Thank you for the reply. I will take it back to the fitter for checking.

The dashcam is fitted correctly. The problem was that the parking mode options, time-lapse and motion detection was disabled in the settings.
In the instructions there is no mention that you have to check the settings for these options through the dashcam viewer.
