F770 no longer records, wifi no connect

Hi

Replaced the soldered battery as it was flat as was getting memory card messages.

It now powers up, connects to GPS, says all the right things but it isnt recording anything and cant connect via wifi.
I turn on wifi, select on phone, open dashcam app but just whirls, F770 says connected to smartphone etc then disconnects after a bit.
I'm using a Cellink battery with a wired transformer to test
I've upgraded FW and downgraded again, numerous format of memory card on Mac

Any ideas or does a Viofo beckon
