FineVu just released a dual channel dash cam called the CR-2i. It appears that both the front and rear channels are 720p. Appears to be quite small and mostly black.

Actually looks pretty good. according to the site below its going to cost around 250-300$.

Every dual camera is advertised as 30fps.
This is true when using only one channel.
Can CR-2i offer 30fps when using both channels?

Until now I don't have the feeling that the quality is closer to the DR500.

Yes, each camera records 720p / 30fps even when working together.
