Firmware for Global version in English

Hi all

I bought a Chinese version of the omni x800 4k dash cam recently. I want to change the firmware to Global version so that i can connect it to the 70mai global app.

Pls can share the firmware for omni 4k? Thanks a lot.

It's no more possible to flash an international firmware to a 70mai dashcam for Chinese market. That's true for ALL 70mai dashcams now.
Your best option is to return the Chinese version and buy the global version. Or you should accept all the limitations of using a Chinese version outside of China.

International firmware is available. But you will brick your dashcam by manually installing it over the local Chinese firmware. Do a search around - you'll see how many dashcams have stucked at boot with "firmware mismatch" error after doing what you are planning to do. That old trick of just replacing the firmware has stopped working over a year ago. 70mai has a strong measure applied to prevent that fraud based on devide ID. They know which device IDs are international, and are eligible for use withban international firmware and 70mai phone app.
