firmware update failure (power disconnect during update process)

Borik,

One more request.
Where can I find loader for the A119 pro?
I don't know yet, my A119 Pro still works.
@viofo where can we get the loader file for the A119 Pro camera?

I have asked @viofo in a separate conversation for the A119 pro loader

in general I hope the loader file will be posted somewhere on a forum, the others might need it as well.

I believe @viofo is on a different time zone.
Probably tomorrow we will have the loader.

I will keep you posted.

I used it on a Pro the other night.

Just tried it.
Unfortunately it doesn't work for me.

Still waiting for a response from @viofo.
Also, opened Ticked in Viofo's web site.

Noting - the camera is dead.
Same as it was with my A119s before I manged to reinstall the loader.

Update…

The loader provided by @CaptureYourAction did work for me.

For that I had to format my SD again, this time using my other camera.
Earlier I did format the SD using my PC – I suspected this was not matching the required format.
I used my working A119s for formatting the SD. Than copied again, on this formatted SD, the loader for the A119 pro.
Inserted the SD into my A119 pro and plugged it to power.

It works perfect.

After reinstalling the loader, I updated the firmware (V1.31).

Now, my A119 pro works perfectly.

@CaptureYourAction, thanks for the loader file.

I assume you're a windows user, windows (by default) format SD card with the size bigger then 32gb to an exFat file system, the camera uses Fat32 file system.
get this utility (click on a picture to download), it will format any storage to a Fat32 file system only (required by a dash camera) and you'll never have to format a card in a camera again. just put a card into a reader, connect it to a PC, than open up a utility (it's a small single file) and your SD card should be pre-selected, use the default options to quick format, and you're good to use it in a camera. just make sure you format the SD card, not a hard drive.
