Greetings,
My mate bought me an eeyelog E730C dashcam during his shenzhen trip
reviewing its specifications, it appears to use Ambarella A7LA50 chipset + OmniVision OV4689 CMOS sensor
http://www.eeyelog.com/product-show.asp?id=447
The G-sensor is too sensitive even at its lowest setting, the videos is bit fuzzy and the screen does not turn itself off even though it is set to 3 mins
I'm hoping a firmware update could at least fix some of these issues. Is it possible to install firmware from other dashcam uses the same chipset and CMOS sensor? For example, the Vantrue R1 Pro, mini 0806 and G90A utilise the same chipset and sensor. I'm wary of bricking the dashcam by flashing incompatible firmware
The current firmware version is B730BG_V140731G
