Firmware >= v1.7+ -- Where to download?

I checked for stickies but nothing. There is mention of A139 having firmware version 1.7.5 but all u see on VIOFO's site is version 1.6. Where are you guys going to get the latest firmware? Are there nightly builds or beta releases?

Basically all firmwares are beta until Viofo pass it to their website as final.

Don't know about v1.7.5 but here you have v1.7 20220302:

Thank you very much. So do you periodically hit that exact URL, install the .bin then check the version through your mobile app because the provided URL gives no indication what version it is.

Just do a support ticket to them requesting it and they will send it to you. That’s what I did.

Nope, if there is a firmware, viofo will post it somewhere (here we have a firmware thread as well) or on their forum. Or you can even ask them directly.

The version is possible to check via hex editor even without installing it.
