I always wanted to try out the U3000 as I love Cloud but I reached out and didn't get any replies.

Does anyone know if they are still a premium dashcam brand?

Is MUMU an AI-created synonym for moo-moo? 🐄

The world of marketing is soon to be filled with the words "AI Powered", "Smart Technology" and more. The ad says it will reduce %95 of food waste, what it reduces it to is not mentioned.

It must work on the lines of one of those Star Trek phasers; when set to kill it just leaves a pile of dust. 🤣

It is in the video:

Nice to see the voice guidance function for people who don't know what to do with it!

My thought is that a dashcam company that charges premium prices (U3000 is $429.99) now making food composters in the very same brand and page, is negative.

It is an $800 food composter, with $50 refills... I think that counts as premium?

I have a compost heap in the garden that cost me $0, and produces $0 compost, without needing any refills, and zero electricity.
Mine does take more than 4 hours to break the food down though... but I don't understand how this can do it in 4 hours, I assume it just chops up and dries the food, so it is not actually composted, and not much use as soil, in fact they say they kill the bacteria, mould and fungi, while proper compost needs bacteria and fungi.

Based on the interview, it is actually a food compactor, to reduce your refuge disposal costs.

Interview with Thinkware:

I mean maybe they will lose focus as a dashcam maker. I don't know how good the camera is.

Had a look and found a few similar looking models on Alibaba, pretty easy for a company to get them ODM then Thinkware to slap their logo on it.

Presuming they're charging a pretty penny for them because there aren't many other models around (at the moment). Expect this to change soon enough.

If Thinkware thinks they can make money from this by diversifying their product portfolio then nothing wrong with that. Don't think they will pivot away from dashcams unless the competition is really eroding into their market share.

Okay that's good to hear. They seem to be the best at Cloud at the moment but I haven't been able to test.
