DIY ball-joint low profile mount for Panorama G / Street-Guardian SCZC12G )

Why in some cases we need a ball-joint mount ?
Most other Panorama G low profile compatible mounts have only 2-axis adjustments, but in many situations we need 3-axis ( X, Y, Z ) adjustment in order to have a correct camera lens / footage angle.

Unfortunately there are no out there low profile ball-joint mounts that would fit Panorama G or other dahscams with similar bracket mount ( mostly DOD LS300W-type )

So I have decided to make one.

I got one low profile ball joint mount which looked on picture to be just the right thing for the job ( before receiving it ), but after I have receiving it, I discovered that it does not fit 100%, so I had to do some DIY.
First I have file down edges of mount about 1mm from different places, in order to fit into Panorama G GPS module.

Next step was to straighten original ball joint "arm". I have used hot-air soldering ( 200C air flow ) to soften plastic and straighten an "arm".

Then I had to heat up plastic again and bend an "arm" slightly forward

Final result.
