Ford transit custom (Uk RH drive)

Hi,

I have purchased the nextbase hardwire kit for my 422gw. I have a ford transit custom limited 2018 work van, i want to hardwire it up now as im fed up of plugging in & un plugging it everyday from the usb point. Has anyone on here hardwired a transit custom van (same year) can i hardwire into a empty fuse slot? Or where is a fuse point i can tap into? I need to find a decent earthing point too. I want to have the dash cam turn on & off with the ignition & i dont want it powered on once the igniton is off in parking mode etc. Cheers

Can you bring a photo of the mounting block (fuse box) of your car to place here? And you will also need data on the car - year of manufacture, model.

And in order to more accurately find the right socket with a fuse, you will need a multimeter or control meter (with a diode)

Problem solved, been chatting to a ford tech on a ford owners forum who helped me. I have gone tapped into a fuse that is for the adaptive lighting which the dashcam turns on & turns off exactly how i want it too on the ignition
