I had no idea fuses could be so confusing and I'm afraid of making a mistake, so I need some more help.
I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma 6cyl, 4 x 4 Limed edition and bought a Vico Power Plus, However the Vico didn't come with any instructions.
There are 3 wires labeled Ground, ACC, and Battery. I actually need only 2 "add a circuit" type connectors" I think.
Ground I understand, connect it to a bare metal spot on the frame or any metal body part for electrical "ground".
ACC I think I can connect to the radio fuse.
Battery, I'm not sure. Do I connect it directly to the battery or to an existing fuse with "add a circuit", if so witch fuse do I add it to?

I haven't pulled a fuse yet to determine what type they are, do I compare it to fuses in some catalog or what, they all look the same on the Internet?

Battery just means a permanent power source, at the fusebox, no need to go direct to the battery

Thanks for the reply. Will things work OK if I connect the ACC wire to the radio fuse using a 5 amp "add a circuit"?
Will 30 amp fuse be OK for the Battery connection using another add a circuit?

Where do you guys usually tie into the fuse box, what line for the ACC and Battery?

i use a multimeter and install what fuse always has power to battery wire.
The acc wire usually is tied with cigarette fuse.

For the battery wire you could probably use a fuse for something like stop lights

Thanks for the information guys.

Has anyone ever used the "Add a Circuit" that you can buy on Ebay? If so what did you think of them, I'm sure others would like to know this also. They are a lot cheaper. http://www.ebay.com/bhp/fuse-tap

If you buy the multi packs of them they are really cheap. If you are actually getting that many. I added this line Aug 13 2016.

Shouldn't be a problem, they aren't that complex of a part.
The cheaper add-a-circuits tend to be more difficult to put a fuse in and out of the slot (without destroying the fuse), but once you get it in it works the same.

Thanks for the reply, someone else told me the same thing. Makes good sense.

The only thing that bothers me is the "wording", Not sure if one would be getting 5 complete add a circuits, or 1 add a circuit and 5 fuses. So I was wondering if anyone had ordered and what did they get. I hate to be so anal, but I have been stuck on Ebay before.

If you're referring to this listing, it sounds like 1 fuse tap with 5 fuses so you can match the accessory you're tapping into the fuse box

No, I'm referring to the link I supplied above, you have to scroll down a bit to see the adds for 5 and 10 piece sets

The link you supplied clearly shows 5 fuses and 1 add a circuit.

That link doesn't show any specific product listing or add to cart option, it's just showing a list of fuse taps that are sold on eBay. I just clicked into the first product listing under your search results.
