It's pretty interesting how both dashcams handle the measurement differently. There are similarities and some of them could be caused by possition on the windshield but DR900S produces definitely spikier graphs (lower sample rate?).

Different hardware which should measure pretty same quantity... Btw: Do you know what accelerometers are used in DR650S and DR900S..?

they're measuring the same thing, different hardware will make for some variation though

Some variation, agreed, but should be calibrated to give the same result.
Incorrectly set G sensor amplifier gain more likely. i.e. Not calibrated.
