I really like my Ausdom A261 , well except for the mount ..
The factory mount fails almost every time the windshield gets hot ..
The suction cup just fails ...
I tried some very mild glue inside the cup and it did work , well for a while till a warm day and it dropped off the windshield ( cam )
If you suffer from this as do I with suction cup mounts ...
You probably dream of a adhesive mount . ( Well I did )
The adhesive mount pictured here is for the G1W series of cams ..
And required some slight mods to fit my Ausdom A261 dash camera ..
Not only did I mod the mount where it fits to the cam , I also used a knife to cut the ball in the mount so that it would bind with less force ...
These mounts suffer from the tension nut splitting .. So cutting up the ball means a lot less force is required to hold the cam steady ..
Its dark now but I will post a picture tomorrow ..
