I’m new to dash cam recording but I have found that mine records in 80mb files, is this correct or can I change it to record a continuous file. I am using a 64gb micro SD card.

the recordings are continuous but are broken into chapters for easier navigation, much like a DVD movie is authored where it is one movie but you can quickly skip through chapter by chapter

they have to work like this so that the camera can recycle the files once the card is full
