I am using Garmin parking mode cable with Garmin dash cam mini. The temperature of the device is 55-Celsius degrees, and the device is very hot. I measured temperature in recording mode after 15 minutes when power was on. The outside temperature was 20-Celcius degrees. I want to ask, is it normal?

The problem with small cameras, if they generate the same amount of heat then the heat is more concentrated than with the big ones and they will feel hotter.

Welcome to DCT @KaMarius :)

All cams get hot in use, and the higher their performance the more heat they generate. It's actually one of the performance limitations for dashcams as they're currently made. As long as the cam works well don't worry about it ;)
