Garmin Model 55 to 56 questions

Did you have a Garmin 55 installed, and then upgraded to a 56?
If so, did you ONLY connect the new camera, using all the already installed cables in your car?

And, if so, any issues?

Yes, I did that. Both cameras share the same power supply and parking mode accessory.

Thanks! Would you say the main difference between the two cameras, is the 1440 images?

Both cams use 1440. DC56 uses higher bitrate for recording.
