I had the LDWS, FCWS and FCMD functions turned on in default setting and it constantly was warning me all the way even when there was no vehicle in front. I need to check what settings are there to tweak those functions.

Looks like A7LA70 videos are brighter than the A7LA30 videos in low light.

Yes at low light but not recommended to use at daylight.

I just leave my G90 + GPS in HDR mode and it appears to produce great footage regardless of the light level.
The way HDR & WDR work it shouldn't have any problems in broad daylight or sun and like you say it improves night footage.

A7LA70 3 minute clips are around 410mb with 18mb data rate @ 2560*1080p/30fps.
A7LA30 3 minute clips are around 350mb with 15mb data rate using official release firmware @ 19800*1080p/30fps.

The unit I got does not have GPS unit.
It's just the dashcam so can't provide information on GPS functionalities.

It's -1 Fahrenheit (-18.33 Celsius) when I drove to work today.
After around 50 minutes, both LA30 and LA70 were equally hot so I am not sure if the LA70 has any different heat sink or not inside.

The G90s don't have any heat sink mate unless they've changed the newer revision? The screen sits right on top of the A7 and then you've got the battery squeezed in between the main sensor board and the sensor daughter board.

I think @CheckYourLights had issues with the G90 freezing in the heat where he is?

Here is a quote that heat issue was fixed in the newer units:

This problem is already improved by using high temperature resistance lens base. If so, lens focus will not be influence by heat.

Yeah I have the first unit with that new lens base here mate as I tested it with Dome - it's just a lens holder - not a heatsink. No issues as of yet but our weather has dropped now. It stays in focus after long journeys now though which is good news
