Genuine SD Card?

Hi can anyone tell me if this SD Card is genuine as I got it off Ebay? As all the gold finish is starting to flake off never had that before with an SD Card?

If its frok ebay I'd say its fake, but on the other hand it may be a genuine one but from appearance it looks fake
 
It was from an "approved seller" on Ebay. So it should be legit. My 612 doesn't like it keeps throwing up SD Card Error, how ever it works fine with the Sandisk extreme 128gb jobby. I've attached a few clearer pics.
