Hello,

Can i use chargin adapter for charging my cam?
I would try to use adapter of my Xiaomi Mi5.
Adapter specs are 5V, 2.5A.

Is it safe to use? :D

Yes, that will be safe.

(Unless the charger is faulty and putting out a too high voltage - you could test it with a USB meter to be absolutely sure.)

Ok m8, tnx, ill try it with USB meter and then report here...

If it is above 5.25 volts then it is out of spec for USB and although it will still work for some things, others may blow up.
The Git2 will be damaged above 5.4 volts.

The amps specification doesn't matter, the Git2 will take what it wants, or if there isn't enough then it will take what it can get and charge more slowely.

I tried with two ampmeters, and accubattery app... It says that voltage is 4,315mV
It never went over 5...

So this is safe to use?

I use it for charging Mi5 more than 6 monthx and without any problems...
It's questionable if those apk's i try are 100% correct...

Maybe your Mi5 is fine with it, if the measurements are accurate then I would advise against using it with the camera

If you did use that then it may power the camera but I wouldn't expect the camera battery to charge.

It is not within the USB specification.

As for reasons of battery life, the charger within amperage range 500-1500 mA looks better.
More amperage (2500 mA) will charge battery faster but battery could be warmed more.
