What is the require voltage and amp for Git2 to record and charge? I have two Git2 that will slowly looses the battery life while recording and charging. I've tried different cables, batteries and power supplies.

The issue is when the cable is unplugged or power supply is off (switching off the car) then the video cuts out which render the last video not saved and I am unable to set it to record for 1 min, or 3 min, etc. after power is cut off.

I expect the original charger from VIOFO to fit your needs. Or search something at about real 2A.

I would expect the same too however; I need to use it on my motorcycle. I am wondering whether it needs 1A or 2A.

My vote is for 2A.

It will use less than 1 amp, however a 1 amp adaptor may not actually provide 1 amp when it gets hot in a warm car, a 2 amp adaptor is much more likely to always be capable of providing 1 amp.
